Lee Auto Malls has celebrated the Lewiston High School boys soccer team on January 4 by funding the purchase of new warm-up suits for the 2015 Class A State Champions.
The Blue Devils won their first state championship on Nov. 7, 2015 after completing a perfect 18-0 season that saw them outscore their opponents 114-7.
The team is the subject of “One Team: The Story of the Lewiston High School Blue Devils,” a documentary project by Lewiston High School alum Ian Clough.
A three-minute trailer of the film was released in November and Clough has a fundraising campaign to finish the film at www.indiegogo.com.
The team includes players from six nations. Eight players grew up in a Somalia refugee camp in Kenya before immigrating to the United States and settling in Lewiston.
Chairman Adam Lee met the team during a ceremony on Monday and presented a $4000 check to coach Mike McGraw and team boosters president Denis Wing.
As the leader of a family business that has been part of the Lewiston-Auburn community for 80 years, Lee said that Lee Auto Malls wanted to celebrate a team that was able to use its diversity into a powerful asset.
“These kids are all Mainers, they came together and accomplished something great and they all played a part,” Lee said. “It’s a dramatic example of what we can all accomplish together. My grandparents on both sides were immigrants who settled in the United States, worked hard and succeeded. I would like to help these kids do the same.”
For the fourth straight year, Lee Auto Malls is helping Maine kids make the most of their summer vacations.
We’re proud to announce that we are providing summer camp scholarships to 118 Maine children to attend the camp of their choice. This is the fourth year we’ve run this program and this is the largest number of scholarship we’ve awarded to date!
The program is available to clients of Lee Auto Malls’ finance divisions, Maine Auto Credit and Atlantic Acceptance Corp., as well the children of Lee Auto Malls employees. Each child is awarded up to $300 to attend the camp of their choosing.
This year, Lee is helping to send Maine kids to soccer, football and basketball camps, math and science camps, 4-H camps, wilderness adventure camps, and lots more! It’s fun just to look at the list and see where all these great kids will be having fun this summer!
Lee Auto Malls is proud to be a Maine family-owned business. We want to encourage Maine kids to fall in love with their home state and experience everything it has to offer. And we can’t wait to see the photos! Parents: Please post a photo of your child enjoying their summer camp experience on our Facebook page!
We were proud to once again support Maine YogaFest this past weekend in Portland! This is the festival’s second year and Lee has been a primary sponsor both times.
This time around the festival was a huge success, twice as big as last year and with tons of great classes and activities. Lee ran a photo contest, inviting attendees to show off their best
yoga poses in front of one of Lee Toyota’s new 2014 Toyota Tundras. We’re posting just a sample of these great photos here, more will be posted at the Maine YogaFest Facebook Page.
We’re honored to be a part of this event. We have an passion for providing the best customer care of any car dealer in Maine, and we’re inspired by seeing people follow their own passions, whatever they may be. Congrats to the organizers of Maine YogaFest on a wonderful festival and we’ll see you again in 2015!

Maine Public Broadcasting’s spring fundraising drive kicks off this week, and once again Lee Auto Malls is stepping up to donate a brand new car in support of the “Life Is Better… With MPBN” campaign.
Anyone who donates to MPBN during the month of May will automatically be entered to win a 2014 Nissan Juke S from Lee Auto Malls. The prize is currently on display at Lee Nissan of Topsham.
The 2014 Nissan Juke S (MSRP: $22,125) is a fun, sporty crossover SUV that features all-wheel-drive, aggressive styling and advanced entertainment technology. This popular hatchback comes in a variety of colors, including “Cayenne Red,” “Bordeaux Black” and “Atomic Gold.”
This is the fourth straight year Lee Auto Malls has donated a car in support of the “Life Is Better” campaign. Lee Auto Malls Chairman Adam Lee says the company focuses its charitable giving on causes that improve the lives of all Mainers.
“MPBN keeps us informed and provides a vital voice for the people of this state,” Lee said. “Life in Maine really is better with MPBN, and we are proud to do what we can to support them.”
Making a donation to MPBN automatically enters someone into the drawing. In addition, anyone can enter the contest by filling out an entry form at any of the 20 Lee Auto Malls dealerships in Maine.
Nissan has awarded Lee Nissan of Auburn its prestigious Owner First Award for Excellence in 2013. Lee Nissan was the only Maine Nissan dealer to receive this award, and is one of only six winners in all of New England.
“I applaud these dealers for their outstanding 2013 performance in customer satisfaction, owner loyalty, and retail sales,” said Northeast Region VP Gary Frido. “Their commitment and devotion to excellence is crucial to our success in today’s automotive market.”
Congratulations to Sales Manager Mike Hansen and his team at Lee Nissan of Auburn for delivering the highest level of service and satisfaction to our customers. Great job everyone!
Lee Auto Malls is proud to announce that Lee Toyota has been honored with the Toyota President’s Award for the fourth straight year!
The President’s Award is one of the highest awards Toyota bestows on its dealerships, and we were thrilled to earn it the first time in 2009. To win it four years in a row speaks volumes about the quality of the team we’ve assembled in Topsham, and it’s gratifying to know that Toyota recognizes what an elite group they are.
The reason the President’s Award is so special to us is that selection is based almost entirely on customer satisfaction. No matter how many cars you sell, you cannot win this award if your customers aren’t extremely happy with every aspect of the sales and service experience. Lee Toyota is one of the best dealerships in the country when it comes to satisfying and exceeding the expectations of its customers, and that’s exactly what we strive for every day across our 20 Maine dealerships.
Congratulations to the Lee Toyota team for maintaining the highest level of excellence. We’re proud that your hard work continues to pay off!
Maine Olympic hopeful Alex Tuttle and Lee Auto Malls chairman Adam Lee.
Maine snowboarder Alex Tuttle is midway through his World Cup season, and he sent us a note this week about how his season has gone thus far. Lee is sponsoring Alex in his bid to make the U.S. Olympic Team, and his picture currently appears on our website homepage. Here’s what Alex had to say about his season so far:
It’s good to be home for the holidays and take a small break from bustling airports. In mid-November to early-December we had a training camp followed by our first World Cup race of the season in Austria. I had never raced that venue before but I really enjoyed my time on the course there. Unfortunately, the course layout didn’t allow for many passing opportunities and I wasn’t able to make it happen. On some days that is just how it goes.
Next on the schedule was Lake Louise, Alberta. This was a venue that was completely new to the tour and looks like it will be better in the future. The course had its quirks, as did qualifying day. Even though snow isn’t unwelcome in our sport, it can definitely be inconvenient. Snow and wind make the speed on course change dramatically from run to run and I wasn’t able to link a good run together once the course started to speed up again. I just missed out qualifying through to the heat racing but as always I am happy to walk away healthy. The heat racing had a lot of wrecks in it and many competitors weren’t quite as lucky. We are heading back to Europe on January 6th for the next 3 races at 2 venues. There will be a double header in Andorra and then a single event in Veysonnaz, Switzerland. I’m excited to get back on the course and make a push to get on the podium. Thanks for reading and enjoy the time with your friends and family!
Alex was also quoted in a Portland Press-Herald article published yesterday, along with his training partner, two-time Olympic gold medalist Seth Wescott. Both are chasing spots on the U.S. snowboardcross team. Good luck guys, all of Maine is rooting for you!
We’re proud to announce that our own John McKeage is being recognized as the Unites States’ top Nissan technician by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
John, who has been with us here at Lee for 9 years, is a ASE-Certified Master technician at Lee Nissan of Topsham. He outscored every other Master Nissan tech on ASE tests in the past year, and was honored at an awards banquet in Newport Beach, Calif., last month.
“We’re proud of John and we’re glad to see he’s being recognized for the terrific technician that he is,” said Lee Nissan General Manager Tom Santospago. “We’ve put together a great team here, and this award just shows the level of professionalism they bring to the dealership every day.”
Lee Nissan of Topsham opened in 2011 in Brunswick before moving to its permanent home at 107 Main Street in Topsham, across the street from Lee Toyota. John was a technician at Lee Toyota prior to joining the Lee Nisssan staff.
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence was established in 1972 as a non-profit organization to help improve the quality of automotive service and repair through the voluntary testing and certification of automotive technicians and parts specialists. Today, there are more than 360,000 ASE-certified professionals at work in dealerships, independent shops, collision repair shops, auto parts stores, fleets, schools and colleges throughout the country.
When we signed up to be a sponsor of the first Maine YogaFest, we wanted to do more than just have our red Lee plate displayed at the event: We wanted to join in the fun. The YogaFest organizers were happy to help us find ways to participate, and we’re excited to be hosting the ‘Ultimate Yogi Road Trip’ photo challenge.
The rules are simple: we will park a top-of-the-line Toyota, the 2013 Toyota Avalon XLE Hybrid, in the middle of YogaFest’s vendor village. We’ll have a photographer taking pictures of teams of people with the Avalon, and the teams with the most creative photos will win. Each member of the winning team will win a PRO or PRO Lite Yoga Mat courtesy of Manduka; the runners-up will each receive gift certificates to Bei Capelli Salon; and the members of the third-place team will receive jewelry pieces custom designed by Mprint Jewelry of Portland.
The booth with be open all day Saturday, and the winners will be announced at the Friends & Family Yoga Party that starts at 5:30pm.
There’s still time to get your tickets to register for Maine YogaFest! Join us Saturday and Sunday at the East End Community School in Portland. We’ll see you there!
